From narrow bezels to full color gamut
More and more information appears on the network about what awaits Apple fans in September, when the company will introduce a new generation of its smartphones. This time, PhoneArena has shared realistic renderings of the iPhone 15 lineup. Of course, these are not official images, but they give an idea of what awaits us in the future.
Unlike other sources that just post beautiful renderings and call them “official”, PhoneArena honestly admits that these are concept images based on preliminary information circulated on the Web.
One of the biggest visual changes in the iPhone 15 series, especially in the Pro models, is the narrower bezels. The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max have bezels that are only 1.5mm thick.
The notch on the Dynamic Island screen has become one of the hallmarks of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. In the news of 2023, it will appear on all models, including the more affordable iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
All Expected Design Changes for iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max
A standard USB Type-C port is also expected to replace the previous proprietary Lightning port. It is noted that the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, along with the transition to the new standard, can also receive support for more powerful charging.
Another change only for the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max is a new customizable action button above the volume controls that works the same as on the Apple Watch Ultra. This new button will replace the familiar iPhone mute switch. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will keep the mute switch for now.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max may have a “periscope” telephoto lens, which will lead to a larger camera protrusion.
And finally, we can admire the new color lines of the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
PhoneArena has been creating visualizations like this on a regular basis for many years. At one time, they shared renders of the Sony Xperia 5 II, Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 +, Apple Watch Series 7 and many other devices.
