AMD Radeon driver 20.8.2 brings support for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Troy, Mortal Shell and Marvel’s Avengers
Following NVIDIA released a graphics driver for fresh major games and AMD. Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.8.2 is intended for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Mortal Shell, A Total War Saga: Troy, as well as the open beta of the superhero action movie Marvel’s Avengers.
Performance data compared to driver 20.8.1 is given only for A Total War Saga: Troy: on a Radeon RX 5700 XT video card at maximum quality in a resolution of 1920 × 1080, you can expect a frame rate increase of 12%.
Microsoft Flight Simulator
These are not all innovations – at the same time, AMD engineers fixed several problems:
- systems on mobile AMD Ryzen 3000 processors with Radeon graphics hung from sleep mode;
- Pressing a key while running or exiting Radeon Blend Mode while playing Hyper Scape caused player actions to freeze.

The Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.8.2 driver can be downloaded in versions for 64-bit Windows 7 or Windows 10 both from the official AMD website and from the Radeon settings menu. It is dated August 17th and is intended for video cards and integrated graphics of the Radeon HD 7000 family and above.
