AMD will introduce Threadripper Pro 7000 with a 96-core CPU at the head

At this point, the current Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000 line will be a year and a half old. However, AMD might not be in a hurry with the new line, since Intel does not yet offer anything comparable in any case. The new line will take Threadripper to a new level, because the flagship model will have 96 cores, like the top-end Epyc of the Genoa generation.

In total, five models are expected in the line, starting with the 12-core one. The CPU will offer up to 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes depending on the platform, an eight-channel DDR5 memory controller, up to 384 MB of third-level cache, and a TDP of 350 W.

It is not yet clear whether such CPUs will be available in retail or only as part of ready-made workstations.
