This is a competitor to Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and Apple iPad Pro 12.9

As part of CES 2023, Lenovo introduced the Tab Extreme tablet, the largest and most powerful tablet in its range, moreover, with a non-trivial design. The cost of new items will be 1300 euros, it will compete with the top tablets on the market – Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and Apple iPad Pro 12.9.

Lenovo Tab Extreme is built on SoC MediaTek Dimensity 9000 and is equipped with a 14.5-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 3000 x 1876 pixels, a frame rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 500 cd / sq.m.

The tablet is running Android 13 – Lenovo promises to update the OS to Android 16 in the future and then release security updates for another year.

The device also includes 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 flash memory, one USB 2.0 Type-C port and one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port each, a fingerprint scanner, a 12,300 mAh battery, dual cameras with sensors 13 MP and 5 MP resolution front and rear, 8 JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos support and 4 microphones.

Device dimensions – 327.8 x 210.8 x 5.85 mm, weight – 740 grams. Designed specifically for the Tab Extreme, the Extreme Keyboard doubles the device’s weight to 1.5kg. The tablet also has a proprietary stylus with 4096 degrees of pressure recognition.

The novelty will go on sale in Europe in June at a price of 1300 euros.
