The watch will be released on May 10 in China
Xiaomi has announced a new version of the Xiaomi Watch S2 smart watch, which will support convenient communication through the popular WeChat messenger in China. The watch will be released on May 10th.
The first teaser says that users will be able to use the watch to reply to WeChat messages with their voice or emoji.
The standard Xiaomi Watch S2 is available in two sizes, with the 42mm version priced at $145, while the 46mm variant is offered for $170. The brightness of AMOLED screens in both cases reaches 600 cd/m 2 , the resolution is 466 x 466 pixels.

The smart watch supports more than 100 types of sports exercises, received sensors for heart rate and oxygen levels in the blood. Xiaomi Watch S2 can track heart rate, stress level, sleep quality and duration, menstrual cycle. They can measure body temperature and composition.
For calls, a speaker and microphone are provided (connection to a smartphone is required), there is also NFC for contactless payments, GPS and Bluetooth 5.2. The watch is waterproof (5 ATM).
