The iPhone will have the same feature.
In the latest issue of Power On, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman revealed that Apple is working on a new monitor that can be used as a smart home display in standby mode. Apple is also working on other monitor options that will likely be direct successors to the Pro Display XDR and Apple Studio Display.
The aforementioned smart display will be based on a single-chip system from the iPhone. This is logical, given that the Studio Display is based on the Apple A13, which is responsible for the operation of the camera and speaker system with Center Stage and Spatial Audio functions.
Apple will release a monitor that will show the weather, calendar and notifications
In power saving mode, the new monitor will be able to display various information, such as reminders, notifications, weather, calendar, and so on.
The same feature (StandBy) is expected in the iPhone with the release of iOS 17.
