But usually it’s much slower.

The Intel Arc video cards turned out to be quite good and over time they are getting better thanks to the refinement of the software. But there are games that show that in fact, much more potential is hidden in Intel adapters. One such game is the latest Jagged Alliance 3, which was released just yesterday.

Computerbase tests show that the Arc A770 performs much better than average in this game relative to its competitors. If in general this video card is a direct competitor for the Radeon RX 6600 XT and falls significantly short of the RTX 3060 Ti, then in Jagged Alliance 3 the Intel adapter is much more powerful.

As you can see, in Full HD, the Arc A770 is 16% faster than the RTX 3060 Ti and only 7% slower than the RX 6800 XT! That is, this is approximately the level of the RX 6800 or RTX 3070 Ti. At 1440p, everything is about the same, but even a little better.

So it turns out that in this game, the Arc A770 is about 40-45% faster than the average for a large sample of games. Of course, this never happens with any AMD or Nvidia adapter, which hints that Intel Arc cards have much more potential, but the company has not yet been able to reveal it.

It remains to be added that in Europe the Arc A770 now costs from 300 euros, that is, at the level of the new RTX 4060.
