ASRock 4X4 BOX-4000 Nettops feature Ryzen 4000U processors with up to 8 cores and 16 threads in a compact package
ASRock is preparing to launch the 4X4 BOX-4000 family of small form factor computers based on the AMD hardware platform. Nettops are suitable for a variety of tasks, including games and entertainment.
The family will include three models: 4X4 BOX-4800U, 4X4 BOX-4500U, and 4X4 BOX-4300U. The computational load is assigned to the Ryzen 7 4800U (eight cores, 16 threads, 1.8-4.2 GHz), the Ryzen 5 4500U (six cores, six threads, 2.3-4.0 GHz), and the Ryzen 3 4300U ( four cores, four threads, 2.7-3.7 GHz).
There are two slots for DDR4 SO-DIMM memory modules. The system can be equipped with a 2.5-inch drive with a SATA 3.0 interface and M.2 2242/2260/2280 solid-state module. The Intel Wi-Fi 6 controller is responsible for wireless connectivity. Wired connections to the network are provided using Realtek 2.5 Gigabit LAN and Realtek Gigabit LAN adapters.
The set of interfaces includes HDMI 2.0a and DisplayPort1.2a, as well as two USB 3.2 Gen.2 Type-C ports with DP1.2 support. Thus, it is possible to output the image to four displays at once.
The devices are enclosed in a housing with dimensions of 110 × 117.5 × 47.85 mm. There is no information about the estimated price yet.
