ASUS TUF Gaming VG258QM Gaming Monitor Reaches 280Hz Refresh Rate
ASUS has announced the TUF Gaming VG258QM gaming-grade monitor, made on a 24.5-inch TN matrix with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD format). The novelty has a traditional flat shape.
The panel has a brightness of 400 cd / m 2 , 1000: 1 contrast and dynamic contrast 100,000,000: 1. Viewing angles horizontally and vertically – up to 170 and 160 degrees, respectively. Claimed 72% coverage of the NTSC colour space.
The refresh rate reaches 280Hz and the response time is 0.5ms (GtG). The ELMB-Sync (Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync) system has been implemented, which combines the technology for reducing motion blur (ELMB) and adaptive sync.
A proprietary set of ASUS GamePlus gaming tools is provided: it includes a sniper mode, a crosshair, a timer, a frame counter and a picture alignment tool in multi-display configurations. Low Blue Light and Flicker-free systems help to reduce eye strain.
The arsenal of new items – 2-watt stereo speakers, DisplayPort 1.2 interface and two HDMI 2.0 connectors. The stand allows you to adjust the angles of tilt and rotation of the display, change the height, and also convert the screen from landscape to portrait.
