AvtoVAZ is already discussing a plan for the production of cars for the next year, during which it plans to produce 560,000 cars at all its sites. This is reported by the public “Atypical AvtoVAZ” in the social network “VKontakte”.
At the same time, at the main plant in Togliatti, where Lada Granta, Niva, Vesta are produced, and later this year Lada Largus will be launched, they plan to produce about 530 thousand cars.
AvtoVAZ also has the Lada Izhevsk site, where they used to assemble Lada Vesta, and now they are preparing an electric Largus, and the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg, where Lada X-Cross 5 will be assembled in June. That is, there will be no Lada X-Cross mass line and will not be able to compete with Granta and Vesta.
AvtoVAZ production plans for 2024 became known
Plans may change due to the situation with components. This has already happened: initially, the plant planned to produce about 500 thousand cars in 2023, but now the plan has decreased by 100 thousand cars.
“Atypical AvtoVAZ” in the past was the first to report the resumption of production of Lada Niva, incomplete Lada Granta and complete set of “Moskvich 3”.
