During two years
AvtoVAZ plans to release four new models in the next two years, which was confirmed by company president Maxim Sokolov. In two years, the following cars will appear on the plant’s assembly line: the Lada Aura business sedan, the Lada Iskra mass-produced passenger car, the e-Largus electric car and the C-class urban crossover based on the Vesta platform.
The first three models should appear next year, and the crossover is expected in 2025. Earlier, Evgeny Shmelev, First Executive Vice President for Strategy and Technical Development at AvtoVAZ , said that developing a car on the Vesta platform does not mean that it will be the same car.

Serial production of the updated Lada Vesta NG started in March 2023, and in August Lada Largus left the assembly line. Currently, production is being transferred to Izhevsk, where it is planned to release the first experimental batch of e-Largus electric vehicles by the end of this year.
In addition, the company continues to produce Vesta, Largus, Granta and Niva cars. In 2022, Lada sales amounted to 188.6 thousand, which is 46% less than in 2021.
Yesterday it became known that AvtoVAZ will discontinue the Lada Granta model, which is the most popular and affordable model of the brand. It will be replaced by the Lada Iskra, which will be produced in three versions: sedan, station wagon and cross-station wagon.
