As reported by the Lada.online resource, AvtoVAZ has issued technical instruction No. 93-23, which states the need to update the software of the universal body electronics unit on Lada Vesta NG cars. Moreover, simultaneously with the software update, they will make a “ mandatory replacement of two electronic keyboards and, if necessary, batteries by the methodology .”

Since this is a service campaign and not a recall, cars will be repaired free of charge during your first visit to the auto center (for example, during routine maintenance).
It is not reported why the order was issued, but there is an assumption that these measures should eliminate several glitches that owners are complaining about en masse. These include unevenly lit lights, a twitching speedometer, “phantom” battery charging, and many others.
Let us remind you that the Lada Vesta NG is equipped with electronic units from ITELMA, a company that now produces ABS for AvtoVAZ models. Renault units were installed on pre-crisis cars.
