The game comes out August 3rd
Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming out very soon, but the developers continue to share various details. For example, today it became known that the game will have more than 17,000 different endings.
In games of the RPG genre (and not only in them), very often there are several endings that depend on the actions of the player in the process of passing. But 17,000 options already sounds very significant.

True, in fact, there is nothing supernatural in this. This is clearly not about 17,000 completely different options. As in some other games, at the end of Baldur’s Gate 3, we are likely to see a summary of the adventure, including a description of various events. And the more such events and development options for each specific event, the more options for endings. In fact, mathematically, only a few events with multiple endings for each are enough to end up with 17,000 options.
Be that as it may, Baldur’s Gate 3 is already being called the largest and most expensive CRPG, and developers from other studios urge players not to regard this project as a new standard, because most studios simply do not have the opportunity to create something like this.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming to PC on August 3rd. PlayStation 5 owners will be able to start playing on September 6th. But Xbox owners will remain on the sidelines for now, and there is no clear information when the game will be released on this platform.
