Finally, the brand’s flagship will receive a periscope module
Insider Digital Chat Station revealed details about the OnePlus 12 camera. It will consist of three modules, the main one with a top-line Sony sensor.
This sensor is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX966 1/1.4-inch optical format. The main module will also have a 23mm aperture lens and an optical stabilization system. The module with an ultra-wide-angle lens will have a 48-megapixel 1/2-inch optical sensor. The third module is the periscope. It will have a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B sensor in 1/2-inch optical format, a lens with an EGF of 70 mm (that is, the optical zoom will be approximately 5x), and optical stabilization.

In August, the same insider revealed other parameters of the OnePlus 12: the smartphone will receive SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a curved screen with a 2K resolution, 24 GB of RAM, a 5400 mAh battery with support for 100 W wired charging, and 50 W wireless charging.
According to the informant, the next generation of OnePlus flagships will include the OnePlus 12 Pro model. And in many ways, it will be better than its predecessor.
