Biostar has announced the release of the B550T-Silver motherboard. This board based on the AMD B550 system logic set is made in the mini-ITX size. According to the manufacturer, it is well suited as the backbone of a home entertainment center.

The board, which is designed in a combination of black and silver colors, supports AMD AM4 processors, including AMD Ryzen 3rd (Matisse / Renoir) and 4th (Vermeer and beyond) generations. The company promises to add support for future AMD Ryzen processors with a BIOS update.
The board has two memory slots that can accommodate up to 64GB of DDR4 memory. Supports memory up to DDR4-4933 + (OC) depending on the processor. Storage connectivity is provided by four SATA 6Gb / s ports and an M.2 slot. The slot contains SATA 6 Gb / s and PCIe 4.0 x4 interfaces.
The equipment includes a PCIe 4.0 / 3.0 x16 expansion slot (PCIe 4.0 support is determined by the processor), a 2.5GbE port on the Realtek RTL8125B controller, two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, one of which is routed to the Type-C connector, six USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and two USB 2.0 ports. In addition, there is a multichannel (7.1) Realtek ALC1150 codec, DP, and HDMI outputs. In case of installation in the M.2 slot of the wireless module, there are two connectors for connecting Wi-Fi antennas on the I / O panel.
