Biostar has introduced two motherboards for working desktops. Both new items, the B550MX / E PRO and B550MH / E PRO, are built on the AMD B550 chipset and are offered for use with the third (Matisse / Renoir) and fourth (Vermeer) generations of Ryzen processors.
Both models support up to 128GB of DDR4 RAM at up to 4933MHz + via overclocking. The presence of the PCIe 4.0 bus allows you to use the most modern graphics accelerators and high-speed NVMe drives with the B550MX / E PRO and B550MH / E PRO motherboards.
The B550MX / E PRO is equipped with four SATA III ports, six USB ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0 ports, and a PS / 2 combo mouse and keyboard port. The novelty offers support for the wireless data transfer standard Wi-Fi 6 and is also equipped with a LAN connector for a wired network connection.
Additionally, it is worth highlighting the presence of DVI-D, VGA, and HDMI 2.1 connectors.
The equipment of the B550MH / E PRO is almost identical. The only difference is the lack of a DVI-D connector.
