After reports emerged that Apple plans to abandon leather cases in the iPhone 15 line, information has emerged about new cases.
The publication Macrumors published information that the new cases for the iPhone 15, which replaced the leather ones, will be called FineWoven.
Insider DuanRui, who shared images of boxes called FineWoven Case, warned that the photos may not show the original cases, but their mock-ups.
It’s worth adding that trusted insider Mark Gurman of Bloomberg today confirmed that Apple is using “new materials” to replace leather cases.

Apple has been offering leather cases since the launch of the iPhone 5s in 2013. Given Apple’s focus on reducing carbon emissions, it makes sense that the company would ditch the leather.
