Motorola, which is now owned by Lenovo, has officially unveiled the budget smartphone Moto G14. Previously, images and some data on the characteristics of the device had already appeared on the network , but then there was no complete information. It turned out that the Moto G14 received a 6.5-inch IPS screen, like the previous model Moto G13 , but the screen resolution is higher: FHD + (2400 x 1080 pixels) versus HD + (1600 x 720 pixels) of its predecessor. However, the frame rate is lower: 60 Hz, while the Moto G13 had 90 Hz.

Otherwise, the novelty is not very different from its predecessor: it is built on an eight-core Unisoc T616 chipset with Mali-G57 graphics, which is slightly better than the Moto G13’s Helio G85. The graphics core is mainly different: Mali-G57 is more productive and energy efficient than Mali-G52. The Moto G14 also received a 5000 mAh battery with support for 20 W fast charging. By the way, the Moto G13 only had a 10-watt charger. The amount of RAM and internal memory is 4 GB and 128 GB, respectively, the latter can be expanded using microSD cards. By the way, other memory configurations are not provided.

The Moto G14 has a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, both capable of shooting 1080p video at 30fps. Other features worth mentioning are dust and moisture protection in accordance with the IP52 standard and a fingerprint sensor located on the side. Two colors are offered: blue and grey. Two more versions will be released soon: light lilac and milky eco-leather. The Moto G14 is set to go on sale in India on August 8 for Rs 9,999 (about $122).
