120 km on pure electric power
BYD has unveiled the latest Destroyer 05 Champion Edition sedan, which is priced at $16,700 in China.
The design of the new car is consistent with the design of current models, the main changes relate to price and trim levels. Dimensions are 4780 x 1837 x 1495 mm, and the wheelbase is 2718 mm. The car is equipped with 17-inch wheels with tires 215/55 R17.

The BYD DM-i plug-in hybrid system, consisting of a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor mated to an E-CVT transmission, was also included. The 18.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery provides a range of 120 km on pure electric power. With a full fuel tank and a full charge, BYD claims a full range of over 1,200 km.
The official acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / h is 7.3 seconds, and fuel consumption is 4.6 l / 100 km. In addition to the 17kW fast charging function, the new car is equipped with a VtoL mobile power station that supports up to 3kW, which uses the car as a mobile power source to power household appliances.
The cabin is equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel, an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel and a 12.8-inch floating central control screen. The new car uses the BYD DiLink operating system, which supports over-the-air updates. In addition, the car can support up to 16 NFC keys. All seats are upholstered in artificial leather and are only manually adjustable.
