The range of modern electric vehicles is constantly growing
BYD introduced the BYD Seal Champion Edition 2023 electric car with a range of up to 700 km in front-wheel drive.
Compared to the regular version, the 2023 BYD Seal Champion Edition adds leather seats, a leather steering wheel and cup holders on the armrests. The all-wheel-drive version of the Seals Champion with a range of 650 km comes with silent iTAC Marlboro tires, 19-inch five-spoke wheels and a suede interior.
The 2023 BYD Seal Champion Edition comes in four exterior colors: North Ice Blue, Aurora White, Dark Sky Black and Atlantis Grey. The car is equipped with various smart functions, NFC key, retractable handles, a huge screen and support for Apple CarPlay / Android Auto.

The standard version with a range of 700 km is equipped with a 231-horsepower electric motor with 330 Nm of torque, as well as support for 150 kW fast charging.
At the end of 2022, BYD Seal was selling more than 10,000 vehicles a month, but sales began to fall after Tesla Model 3 and Model Y prices fell. In recent months, monthly sales have been between 6,000 and 7,000 units.
BYD hopes to increase sales by lowering the price of the new Seal. The top version with a range of 700 km has dropped from $37,900 to $34,900, while the base version with a range of 550 km is now $27,400 from $30,700.
