BYD sold 301,903 new energy vehicles (NEVs) in November, up 31% year-on-year and almost the same as in October. Sales of electric vehicles (BEVs) rose to 170,150 units, while sales of hybrid vehicles (PHEVs) decreased by 3.22% to 131,228 compared to the previous month.

This is another record high month for BYD, but growth for the month is very slight, only 0.27%. Year to date (January-November), BYD has sold 2,683,374 vehicles, meaning the company needs to deliver about 320,000 units in December to reach its goal of 3 million vehicles.

BYD stopped production of internal combustion engine vehicles in April last year. BEV sales accounted for 52.5% of BYD’s total sales in September and 54.9% in October.
