Blackmagic Design has announced a reduction in the price of Pocket Cinema Camera 6K to $ 1995. The new price is $ 500 less than the previous one. According to the manufacturer, this will help to make this camera more accessible for users working on digital films and engaged in direct broadcasting using ATEM Mini devices to which cameras are connected via HDMI.

The camera is equipped with CFast and SD UHS-II card slots, as well as a USB-C port for direct recording to external media. The recording is carried out using standard open file formats. Video with a resolution of up to 4K is saved in standard 10-bit Apple ProRes files, and with a resolution of up to 6K – in 12-bit Blackmagic RAW files. Memory cards can be formatted as HFS + for Mac and as ExFAT for Windows.
