Casio unveils G-Shock GSW-H1000, its first Wear OS smartwatch
Casio has introduced the GSW-H1000 smart wristwatch in the G-Shock product family, designed for athletes and extreme sportspeople. The gadget will go on sale in the middle of next month.
The novelty was the first Casio smartwatch running the Wear OS operating system. Users will be able to interact with the smart assistant Google Assistant and download applications from the Google Play catalog.
The device is equipped with a two-layer display: a monochrome panel for constant display of time and useful information, as well as a color 1.32-inch screen (320 × 300 pixels) for demonstrating navigation maps, readings from sensors, etc.
The watch is made in a case of increased strength. They are not afraid of diving underwater to a depth of 200 meters. On the side, there are physical control buttons.
The equipment includes a rich set of sensors: a heart rate sensor, GPS receiver, barometer, altimeter, etc. Various sport modes are provided.
The G-Shock GSW-H1000 will be available in black, blue, and red for an estimated $ 700.
