There will be a hybrid version
The Changan Qiyuan A07 electric sedan has been introduced, which will compete with the Tesla Model 3, XPeng P7 and BYD Seal. It is the first model of Qiyuan, a new electric vehicle brand Changan Automobile, to be offered starting at $29,000.
The novelty received hidden door handles and a body with dimensions of 4905 x 1910 x 1480 mm with a wheelbase of 2900 mm. For comparison: the wheelbase of the Tesla Model 3 (which the manufacturer considers its main competitor) is 2875 mm.

The Qiyuan A07 is built on the Changan EPA1 platform, which supports extended range hybrid and pure electric models. The purely electric version will be equipped with a 217 and 260 hp electric motor. and powered by CATL lithium batteries. Her power reserve is not reported.
The hybrid version will get a 95kW 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine, a 217kW electric motor and a 28.9kWh lithium iron phosphate battery also supplied by CATL. On pure electricity, the car will be able to drive 170 km.
The Changan Qiyuan A07 will have a radar, panoramic cameras, massage chairs and 18/19-inch wheels.
