We will remind, earlier it became known that the release of Chicory: A Colorful Tale is scheduled for this year. The team did not abandon their intentions: moreover, as it turned out, there was very little time left to wait for the premiere.

Find, and Lobanov announced that Chicory: A Colorful Tale will go on sale before the end of this spring. This information is relevant not only for the console versions of the project (PS4, PS5) but also for the PC edition (Steam).

On the occasion of the announcement, a gameplay trailer for Chicory: A Colorful Tale was also unveiled. Lobanov calls this video the final, but it is unlikely to be the last – the video will probably also be dedicated to the exact release date.

Players in Chicory: A Colorful Tale will take on the role of an aspiring dog artist armed with a magic brush who will paint a world that has lost its colors.

On PS5, drawing in Chicory: A Colorful Tale will be possible thanks to the DualSense controller’s touchpad. The project has also implemented the “Help for the game” function and contains a video with a full walkthrough (to help the user).

Also, Chicory: A Colorful Tale promises the ability to slow down, simplify or even skip the puzzle and a warning (which can be turned off) before the start of a “particularly creepy task.”
