There are no such problems in official service stations
Problems with the supply of original spare parts and components for Chinese cars did not affect official dealer centers, as reported to Izvestia by the AvtoSpetsTsentr Group of Companies.
In the fall, unofficial service stations began to have problems with a shortage of parts for cars from China. Chinese cars are increasingly difficult to repair in unofficial service stations
“Problems with the supply of spare parts did not affect official dealers cooperating with Chinese automakers. They have full access to technical information and store in warehouses the necessary stock of original parts for cars from China,” the Russian dealer emphasized.
Since the beginning of the year, the number of visits to service centers has increased by 38% compared to the same period in 2022. Experts attribute this to an increase in the volume of imports of Chinese cars: from January to May 2023, 287 thousand cars were imported into the Russian Federation, while in 2022 there were Only 162 thousand units were imported.
A few days earlier, the general director of AutoSpetsCenter Khimki, Ilya Petrov, said that in Russia the demand for Chinese cars will continue to grow because new products from China are superior to many Korean, Japanese, and European analogs in terms of configuration and equipment. At the same time, according to him, among the most popular Chinese brands among Russians are Chery, Haval, Geely, and Exeed.
