The pandemic continues to interfere with such events in the usual format

The Computex computer exhibition has become another victim of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Taiwan Foreign Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the organizer of the event, today announced that this year’s exhibition will be purely virtual.

In the context of the ongoing pandemic, most exhibitors and visitors, as well as media representatives, will not be able to enter the exhibition due to border controls. Therefore, the organizers decided not to hold the event in the usual format.

The #COMPUTEXVirtual virtual show will run as planned throughout June. According to preliminary information, most of the companies that usually participated in the Computex exhibition intend to hold their own online events before #COMPUTEXVirtual, and their participation in the virtual exhibition itself will be almost nominal.
