Japanese companies have congratulated their competitor on the release of the new Xbox. Moreover, Sony and Microsoft have exchanged pleasantries.
On behalf of Nintendo, the announcement was made by Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser. He wrote on Twitter: «I congratulate [the team] Xbox and Phil Spencer (Phil Spencer) with the launch of Xbox Series X and the S the Series». Reggie Fils-Aime, former president of Nintendo of America, published a similar message.
But Sony did something more original. She addressed a post to Microsoft, to which she attached a fragment with the execution of finishing moves in Mortal Kombat 11, but not at all bloody and cruel, as is customary in the game. In a short cutscene, a character named Jax plays funny music, and then “friendship” appears on the screen. Microsoft did not remain indifferent to this message and published a video where men cross their palms, and instead of faces, they have the Xbox and PlayStation logos.
From the Sony camp, Worldwide Studios President Herman Hulst also made a statement: “Congratulations and good luck to the Xbox with their [consoles] launch. “
