New information from Ming-Chi Kuo
Demand for the iPhone 15 series will be lower than for the iPhone 14 series a year earlier, according to well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. According to him, this will lead to a decrease in the income of Apple suppliers in the second half of 2023.
The upcoming iPhone lineup should consist of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. All four models are rumored to feature a USB-C port and Dynamic Island. iPhone 15 Pro models are rumored to get additional features, including the Apple A17 Bionic, titanium bezel, customizable Action button, narrow screen bezel, Wi-Fi 6E support, 5x to 6x optical zoom for the Pro Max camera.
Demand for iPhone 15 will be lower than for iPhone 14
According to Tim Long, an analyst at British bank Barclays, the iPhone 15 Pro models are likely to cost between $100 and $200 more than the iPhone 14 Pro models. This, too, could reduce demand for novelties as consumers cut their spending due to inflation.
Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 15 series in early September.
