Developer Studio Necromunda: Hired Gun and Space Hulk: Deathwing became part of Focus Home Interactive
Publisher Focus Home Interactive on its official website announced the French studio Streum On, currently working on the shooter Necromunda: Hired Gun.
The deal was not disclosed, but it is known that Focus Home Interactive paid off the management of Streum On Studio both in cash and in its own shares.
Streum On Studio was founded in 2007 and has grown to around 20 “talented employees” since then. The team began working with Focus Home Interactive in 2013.
According to Christophe Nobileau, President of Focus Home Interactive, Streum On Studio has demonstrated its knowledge and skills in developing shooters that have received critical and player acclaim.
Earlier, Streum On Studio released the cyberpunk role-playing action game EYE: Divine Cybermancy and the shooter Space Hulk: Deathwing (together with Cyanide Studio). The latter has sold “nearly 1 million copies. “
As for Necromunda: Hired Gun, the upcoming shooter, follows a bounty hunter in the “world of crime and corruption of Necromunda,” the most sinister hive city in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
Necromunda: The Hired Gun will go on sale June 1 this year for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S. Pre-orders started simultaneously with the official announcement.
