In retail sale – from June 26
Samsung has finally revealed the price of its cutting-edge Odyssey OLED G9 monitor: the novelty has officially gone on sale in the home market in South Korea and the United States today. More precisely, while the monitor is available for pre-order, real retail sales in the US will start on June 26th. The price is impressive – 2200 dollars. In comparison, LG is asking $1,700 for its 45-inch UltraGear OLED in the US, although it also has a lower resolution – WQHD (3440 x 1440 pixels).

Dual QHD Odyssey OLED G9 monitor
The Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 is equipped with a 1.8 m curved OLED panel with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 32: 9. The maximum frame rate is 240 Hz, the pixel response time is 0.03 s. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA Adaptive Sync, HDR10+ technologies are supported. And the new product meets the requirements of the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 standard.

The monitor is equipped with HDMI 2.1, Micro HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports, as well as a USB hub, built-in speakers with a total power of 10 watts. The stand allows you to adjust the height of the monitor (in the range of 120 mm) and the angle of inclination (from -2 to + 15 °).
