The exhibition takes place this week
The 18th international aviation and space exhibition Dubai Airshow 2023 is taking place in Dubai this week.
Airbus’s space division has shared images of part of Al Maktoum International Airport, where the Dubai Air Show is taking place.
The exhibition attracted more than 1.4 thousand manufacturers, who were expected to present 180 aircraft. The main premiere of the Russian exposition will be the Il-76MD-90A(E) heavy transport aircraft. Russia will also show the modernized Ka-32A11M firefighting helicopter, Mi-171A3 and Ansat helicopters.

10 years ago, a record was set for the volume of contracts at the Dubai Airshow. In 2013, its participants entered into agreements totaling more than $206 billion.
Yesterday it was reported that at the Dubai Air Show, Emirates Airline and Boeing Co. signed a contract for the purchase of aircraft for $52 billion. It also became known that Airbus, a competitor to Boeing, and the Turkish national carrier Turkish Airlines entered into a multi-billion dollar agreement for the supply of 355 aircraft.
