“If you want to work at Tesla, at SpaceX, at Twitter, you have to come to the office every day”
In an interview with CNBC, Elon Musk called remote work “morally wrong bullshit,” arguing that it’s unfair to people who can’t work from home.
Musk, who banned telecommuting from Twitter after acquiring the company, has spoken out on the subject before. This time, he said remote work is counterproductive.
“I sincerely believe that people are more productive when they are in the workplace,” the billionaire said during an interview.
Elon Musk called remote work “morally wrong bullshit”
Last June, Musk announced that Tesla employees should return to the office, warning them that they would lose their jobs if they refused to do so. Employees must spend at least 40 hours a week in the office.
In a recent interview, Musk said couriers and builders can’t work from home. The same, in his opinion, should be done by office workers, that is, work in their places.
“If you want to work at Tesla, at SpaceX, at Twitter, you have to come to the office every day,” he said.
