European Redmi Note 8T started receiving MIUI 12 with Android 10
Previously stable MIUI 12 became available as a global firmware for a limited number of users (about 30% of users). The next in line were smartphones with European firmware, and Russian firmware will appear a little later.
The stable European firmware 12.0.1.0.QCXEUXM for Redmi Note 8T is based on last year’s Android 10 operating system and does not allow testing Android 11. In addition to the standard MIUI 12 innovations, the update brings the Android security update for October 2020.
Recall that the Redmi Note 8T smartphone was presented last fall. It has become an updated version of the popular Redmi Note 8 with NFC support and 18-watt charging.
In Russia, in the official Xiaomi online store, the Redmi Note 8T smartphone is offered at a price of 182 dollars.
