Now this feature will be complemented by new instant video messages. Users have the opportunity to record and send short personal videos directly in the correspondence.

If you swipe up on the screen, you can record a video message without holding the button. As soon as the interlocutor opens the video, its playback will automatically start without sound. To turn on the sound, you need to click on the video.
Video messages are end-to-end encrypted. The distribution of this innovation has already begun, in the coming weeks, video messages will be available to all WhatsApp users.
