One condition – under the hood of a pickup truck must be a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated engine
Ford Performance has announced the release of the FP700 package for the current-generation Ford F-150 pickup truck, which is extremely popular in the US.
The peculiarity of the package is that it almost doubles the power of the atmospheric 5.0-liter engine – from 405 to 710 hp! At the same time, such a “normal” Ford F-150 is compared in power with the extreme F-150 Raptor R with a 5.2-liter Predator V8 engine. And it makes no sense to say that the cost of the F-150 Raptor R is much more than a regular F-150, albeit with a 5.0-liter engine. In general, it turns out a very cheap and angry upgrade.
Ford offered to pump the F-150 pickups: for $12,350,
The upgrade kit will fit all 2021-2023 pickups except those equipped with the Pro Power Onboard system. The FP700 includes not only a Whipple supercharger, but also one of the exterior styling kits to choose from – Bronze Edition or Black Edition.
Recall that the current Ford F-150 (already the 14th generation) debuted in the summer of 2020 and is now preparing for a planned upgrade.
