The highly anticipated return of “Futurama” is just around the corner.
Hulu has recently unveiled a new trailer for the show’s 11th season, set to air on June 27. Although Hulu initially announced a 20-episode order for the animated comedy in February 2022, the newest season will consist of 10 episodes.

According to the official synopsis, Season 11 will take the crew on a journey through a “whole new pandemic in town,” exploring futuristic topics such as vaccines, bitcoin, cancel culture, and streaming TV.
Originally premiering in 1999, “Futurama” quickly gained a dedicated fanbase and critical acclaim, earning two primetime Emmys for Outstanding Animated Program. After its initial run on Fox, the show saw a DVD release from 2007 to 2009, followed by a revival on Comedy Central from 2010 to 2013.
Now, after a decade-long hiatus, “Futurama” is making a comeback on Hulu. Season 11 will be available for streaming on Monday, July 24, featuring developments in long-standing mysteries, including the love story of Fry and Leela and the contents of Nibbler’s litter box.
