It will go into production after the Hummer EV pickup
General Motors previously announced plans to produce 30 new electric vehicles by 2025. A few days ago, the company held a press conference where it elaborated on its initiatives in a little more detail. During the event, behind the speakers’ backs, several promising cars from the same 30 models flaunted. Among them, there was an electric pickup truck under the Chevrolet delusion (apparently, it will become an inexpensive popular model and will not mark Cybertruck’s competitors) and … an electric Hummer!
General Motors unveils electric Hummer SUV
We are not talking about the Hummer EV pickup – it was presented a month ago, but the Hummer SUV. The successor to the civilian Hummer H3, although rare, can still be found on public roads (after all, this model was discontinued in 2010).
Judging by the picture, the Hummer SUV will differ from the Hummer pickup only in its body without a cargo platform. It is expected that the technical parameters of electric vehicles will be unified. This means that the Hummer SUV in the top version will receive a power plant with a capacity of about 1000 hp, will be able to accelerate to 100 km / h in about 3 seconds, and the power reserve will clearly exceed the 500 km / h mark.
The Hummer EV Edition One will go on sale by the end of next year. Sales of the Hummer SUV are likely to start in 2022.
