According to insider White, the Traveler will not obtain the Pyro element at the beginning of update 5.0. Instead, the acquisition of this fiery power is tied to completing the Archon’s main quests in Natlan. Only after receiving the Heart of God from Mavuika, the presumed Pyro Archon, will the Traveler gain access to the Pyro element.
This delay in obtaining the Pyro element aligns with the official announcement that Archon Quests will be added in updates 5.0, 5.1, and 5.3. If the leak is accurate, players may have to wait until update 5.3, scheduled for January 1, 2025, to unlock the Pyro element for the Traveler.
