LG has introduced a huge curved gaming monitor. The device is called the UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor and has a catalog number of 45GR95QE.
From the latter it is clear that the screen diagonal is 45 inches, that is, in this parameter it is already much closer to TVs than to monitors. At the same time, a curved OLED panel with a radius of curvature of 800 mm is used here.
The huge monitor stands out not only for its size. The frame rate here reaches 240 Hz, and this is at a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. Response time is claimed to be just 0.1ms, and LG notes 98.5% DCI-P3 coverage, HDR10 support, and HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 availability.
Unfortunately, LG has not yet said when such a monitor will be available for purchase and how much it will cost.
