Gigabyte is preparing to release the video card Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming OC

According to the resource VideoCardz, referring to the network source Patrick Schur (@patrickschur_), the first image of the Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics accelerator performed by Gaming OC from Gigabyte has appeared on the Web. Outwardly, the novelty is very similar to the design of the GeForce RTX 3070 video card in the same design from the same Taiwanese manufacturer.

According to the source, the card received a massive cooling system with three fans, thanks to which it will occupy 2.5 expansion slots in a PC case. The image source does not indicate the number of additional power connectors for the Radeon video card. The only noticeable visual difference between the Gigabyte Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming OC and the GeForce RTX 3070 Gaming OC is the slightly differently located RGB lighting element at the top of the video card.

The Radeon RX 6800 XT is powered by a Navi 21 XT GPU with 4608 stream processors and 16GB of GDDR6 video memory. The new product has 128 MB of dedicated fast buffer memory Infinity Cache, increasing the bandwidth of the main set of video memory chips.

The reference version of this video card will go on sale on November 18 at a suggested price of $ 649. The non-reference sample from Gigabyte will probably be priced slightly higher due to factory overclocking and a different cooling system design. In addition, the start of sales of non-reference variants of the Radeon RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 will take place one or two weeks later.
