Gigabyte Unveils Aorus Model X Gaming Computer Powered By AMD Ryzen 9 5900X Processor

Gigabyte Technology has announced the Aorus Model X desktop computer designed specifically for gamers. The desktop is based on the AMD hardware platform.

In particular, a motherboard based on an AMD X570 chipset and a Ryzen 9 5900X processor is involved. This chip contains 12 processing cores with the ability to process up to 24 instruction streams simultaneously. The base clock speed is 3.7 GHz.

The computer is equipped with a liquid cooling system with a 360-mm radiator. Responsible for graphics processing is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 accelerator with 10 GB of memory.

The desktop arsenal includes 32GB of DDR4-3600 RAM, a 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, and a 2TB PCIe 3.0 M.2 module.

Realtek 2.5GbE and Intel 1GbE controllers are responsible for the wired connection to the computer network. In addition, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapters are provided.

The computer has a proprietary multicolor RGB Fusion 2.0 backlight. The case has room for three 2.5 “drives and two 3.5” storage devices. There are ports USB Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A (× 3), USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A (× 2), USB 2.0 Type-A (× 4), HDMI, DisplayPort, etc. A power unit provides power with a capacity of 850 Watts with 80 PLUS Gold Certification.
