Golden smartphones have been produced since the iPhone 5s
Additional details have emerged about the available colors that will be featured on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max lineup. Exclusive information was shared by the specialized publication 9to5mac, which refers to its own informants.
Starting with the iPhone 5s, the iPhone lineup has had the same colors: Silver, Gold, and Space Gray. With the iPhone 6s, Apple introduced a fourth color, and this fourth color was different for each model. We’ve seen Rose Gold, Jet Black, Midnight Green, Pacific Blue, Sierra Blue, and most recently Deep Purple for the iPhone 14 Pro.
This time around, with a new titanium frame, Apple plans to introduce brand new colors for the iPhone. Earlier this year, sources told 9to5Mac that Apple was experimenting with a new “crimson” color for this year’s phones. Now, however, sources have provided fresh data.
Goodbye golden iPhone. All colors of the iPhone 15 Pro showed in high-quality images
Instead of just adding a new color, Apple has reportedly rethought all the colors of the Pro models. A new gray color will appear in the lineup, combining the original titanium color, similar to the Apple Watch Ultra. Another new color will be navy blue, which could be similar to the Pacific Blue iPhone 12 Pro.
Apple will also retain a black color and a silver model in the lineup. There will be no gold color, as previously reported. The thing is, painting titanium gold can be tricky and the end result may not look very good, especially when the paint starts to flake off, which is a matter of time in practice.
Previously, 9to5Mac published exclusive images showing the new Titan Gray color .
Presumably, Apple will introduce the iPhone 15 family on September 12th.
