Perhaps the model will be put back into production in 2024
AvtoVAZ is considering the option of returning the Granta hatchback to the Lada lineup, as reported by the Atypical AvtoVAZ group.
The return of the current generation Lada Granta hatchback is no longer considered unpromising at AvtoVAZ. And even the probable dates for the appearance of this model on the assembly line are called – spring 2024.
Hatchback Lada Granta can return to the conveyor.
However, there are many people at the plant who oppose this idea, since the Granta hatchback has never shown decent sales, yielding even to the Lada Xray, which has already been officially discontinued.
Currently, AvtoVAZ produces Lada Granta in three body styles: sedan, liftback and station wagon. The latest model leaves the assembly line only in the Cross version.
AvtoVAZ officially allows the return of this model: the AvtoVAZ press service confirmed that the decision to return the Lada Granta hatchback will be made solely on the basis of demand.
