“Help me write” feature available for testing
Back in March, Google showed off the Help Me Write feature for Gmail, which helps you write emails using AI. This promising feature is now rolling out to the Gmail apps for iOS and Android.
Currently, the innovation has begun to roll out only to a limited number of users, and a wider implementation is expected at the end of 2023. Testing is conducted among users registered with Google Workspace Labs . Previously, testing was conducted among Workspace Labs participants on computers.
Hate writing emails? Gmail does it for you on iOS and Android
The feature works the same as it does in Gmail for desktop. Help Me Write can edit an already written email or write a new one based on a brief prompt from the user. Available options are Formalize, Elaborate, Shorten, I’m Feeling Lucky, and Write a Draft.
