Hood: Outlaws & Legends Goes Gold and Prepares for Final Beta
Publisher Focus Home Interactive and development studio Sumo Newcastle in the official microblog of their co-op-competitive action movie Hood: Outlaws & Legends, reported that the game went gold.
In other words, the main development of the project is complete, and the master disc containing the final assembly of Hood: Outlaws & Legends is ready to be sent to print and uploaded to digital distribution services.
As a rule, the attainment of this stage production is protected from the possibility of transferring, but the case with Cyberpunk 2077 showed that a 100 percent guarantee does not exist.
Shortly after this announcement, the developers announced that they were finalizing preparations to launch the latest Closed Beta for Hood: Outlaws & Legends ahead of the release.
Tests will take place exclusively on PC (Steam). The authors explained this because conducting the “beta” on the consoles would take too long – the client would have to go through a full test with Sony and Microsoft.
Recall that Hood’s events: Outlaws & Legends unfold in a dark and cruel medieval world, where players get the role of lawless people who are trying to simultaneously harm the rich and win their place among the legends.
Hood: Outlaws & Legends will go on sale on May 10 this year for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S. Those who pre-order will get access to the project three days earlier.
