Development Director of Navigator JSC Artyom Khoroshaniy at the Army-2023 forum confirmed that Russia is developing a supersonic aircraft without glazing. According to him, the windshield will be replaced by a modern external review system with an electronic panel.
“Today, the Russian Federation is developing a supersonic aircraft, where one of the technical specifications is to work without glass. For pilots to look through the cockpit using technical vision, but through a physically closed volume without windows, without glass. This will allow the aircraft to fly quickly and reliably, ”he said in the studio of the Zvezda TV channel.

At the end of July of this year , it was reported that the supersonic civilian jet being developed was called the Swift. The project is being prepared by the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute named after Professor N. E. Zhukovsky (TsAGI).
It is also known that the passenger capacity of the aircraft will be 20-25 people. With the maximum number of passengers, it will be able to fly up to 11,000 km at a cruising speed of 1,900 km/h.
The Russian Defense Ministry added that the number of companies presenting unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), small-sized electronic warfare equipment and other anti-drone equipment at the Army-2023 forum has increased several times compared to previous similar exhibitions. At the same time, most of the new products in this segment are small UAVs in the format of quadcopters and multicopters.
