This is not an E-Ink panel.
In addition to the Watch GT4 smartwatch, Huawei also introduced the MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte tablet.

Huawei MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte tablet introduced
The company already had a model called the MatePad Paper, equipped with an E Ink screen, but the new model, despite the similar name, is a completely different product. This is a version of the previously released MatePad 11.5 tablet but equipped with a PaperMatte screen. And this is not an e-ink panel. Huawei itself says that such a screen is distinguished by its surface, which is created through nano-etching. This makes the screen matte, eliminates glare, and creates the feeling of working with paper. This is complemented by SGS Anti-Eye Fatigue Certification, TÜV Rheinland Anti-Glare Certification, Anti-Blue Light Certification, and TÜV Rheinland Anti-Flicker Certification. All this should make working with the tablet more comfortable.

As for the remaining parameters, they are identical to the regular version of the tablet. The device is equipped with an 11.5-inch diagonal IPS panel with a resolution of 2200 × 1440 pixels and a frame rate of 120 Hz, SoC Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, 8/256 GB of memory, a 13-megapixel camera, and a 7700 mAh battery with 22-watt charging. The tablet runs HarmonyOS 3.1.
The new product will go on sale in Europe on September 19 for 500 euros.
