Huawei may release a smartphone with a double-sided screen

Information about the device, as reported by the resource LetsGoDigital, was published on the website of China’s National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). Patent illustrations provide insight into the design of the device.

Huawei is designing a smartphone with a double-sided screen. The display will completely cover the front part, go to the side edge, and cover about two-thirds of the back panel of the case.

A triple camera with vertically aligned optical modules will be located in the left area of ​​the back. A front camera is not needed for such a device, since the owners will be able to shoot self-portraits on the main camera using the back of the screen as a viewfinder.
