Only a few days have passed since the announcement of Huawei P Smart 2020 that there is already talk of a new member of the range: P Smart S was in fact unveiled by @evleaks, which published its print renders allowing us to know the first technical details and aesthetic.
Huawei P Smart S
The information about it is still rather sparse, but some considerations can be made starting from the images shared on the web. From P Smart 2020 inherits the drop notch and the pronounced lower edge. To find the news you need to take a look at the rear body, where there are three cameras that replace the previous 13 + 2MP double cam. As indicated in the wording under the vertical module, the main sensor will be 48MP
From the comparison with P Smart 2020, the unpublished P Smart S gains, yes, a camera, but loses the fingerprint sensor. Render error or Huawei’s choice to rely on another unlock method? Currently difficult answer to give, even if the almost certain presence of an LCD panel eliminates the possibility that the sensor is integrated under the display. Finally, there are three colours: Emerald Green, Breathing Crystal and Midnight Black.
Evleaks did not provide indications regarding the presence or absence of Google apps: given the similarity with P Smart 2020 – which in turn inherited much of the design and technical data sheet from P Smart 2019 – it cannot be excluded that the GApps are still present. In this regard, however, it is better to wait for more precise information.
